Clear IT help when the technology gets foggy.

Patient, one-on-one help with Macs, PCs and iPhones, from scam cleanup to setting up the register at your shop. I’m Noah Duncan, an Apple-certified technician in Burlington, Vermont.

Sound familiar?

Most calls start with one of these. All of them are fixable.

What I help with

Software, setup and security for the devices you use every day. In person around Vermont, or remotely when that’s faster.

At home

Mac, PC and iPhone help
Software problems, settings, updates, and the questions you’ve been saving up.
Malware and scam recovery
Clean up an infected computer, undo what a scam call or fake pop-up changed, and close the door it came through.
Security hardening
Passwords, two-factor sign-in, backups and privacy settings, set up so you’re a harder target.
Speed and storage cleanup
Free up space, clear out what’s slowing things down, and get startup back to normal.
Email that behaves
Missing messages, sync problems, full inboxes, and accounts that work the same on every device.
Setup and lessons
A new computer or phone set up and moved over from the old one, plus one-on-one lessons at your pace.

For small businesses

Point-of-sale setup
Registers, card readers, receipt printers, scanners, staff accounts, and someone there on launch day.
Devices and Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi that reaches the back room, shared printers, and devices that are ready on day one.
Plain-English tech planning
What to buy, what to skip, and how it fits together, before you spend the money.

How a visit goes

  1. Listen

We start with what’s actually going wrong, who it affects, and what “working” would look like for you.

  2. Find the real cause

I check the devices, accounts, software and network involved, so the fix matches the problem and your budget.

  3. Fix it and write it down

I make the fix, show you what changed, and leave notes so the next problem is easier to solve.

Ten years behind the service desk

I spent more than a decade at Small Dog Electronics, Vermont’s Apple specialist, and ran its service department from 2020 until the store closed in 2026. Before that I worked as a licensed practical nurse, which is where I learned that patience is most of the job.

For over six years I’ve been the person people call after a scam call, a fake virus warning, or a computer that suddenly won’t cooperate. Green Mountain Fog is how I keep doing that work, directly, for the people who need it.

Things I build on the side

Tell me what’s going on.

Send a short note about the problem, where you are in Vermont, and whether it’s for home or a business. I’ll write back with the next step.
